Pokémon’s Delta Reign Splits a Stadium Card in Two, But Keeps Both Halves in One Pack
Pokémon is selling a Stadium card in two pieces. The good news is that both pieces come in the same pack.

The set is Mega Evolution—Delta Reign, and it’s scheduled for a worldwide release on November 6, 2026, according to the Pokémon Company’s announcement and Sports Illustrated’s coverage. Prerelease events at Play! Pokémon locations begin October 24, per GamesRadar and Bleeding Cool. Mega Rayquaza ex is the headliner, its first Pokémon TCG appearance since the XY era, and it’s joined by Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex.
Here’s the part worth slowing down for. The set has three Legendary Stadiums, and each one is made of two Stadium cards that play alongside each other and line up into a single piece of artwork. Stadium cards normally sit alone, one in play at a time, so a matched pair is a real change at the table. What a pair actually does in a game, we don’t know yet. The coverage we found doesn’t spell out the rules, and we’d rather wait for the card text than guess.
What we do know is how the halves reach you. Bleeding Cool and GamesRadar both report that a booster pack containing a Legendary Stadium includes both required cards, and Insider Gaming says the same. Anyone who has bought into a two-part chase knows the feeling of pulling the left half and never seeing the right one. Keeping the pair together removes that trap, and it’s a kindness to people who just like opening packs at the store.
Now the open questions. No prices have been announced. Sports Illustrated lists the usual spread of products, including an Elite Trainer Box, booster box, booster bundle and blister packs, but gives no MSRP, and it notes the English chase cards haven’t all been shown. GamesRadar counts 14 Illustration Rares and six Special Illustration Rares, so the hit list is long. Still, “both halves in one pack” says nothing about how often a pack has a Stadium in it at all. Until pull rates are known, the pairing is a nice design choice and not yet a promise about your odds.
There’s also the matter of supply. GamesRadar notes that the 30th Celebration set is still very hard to buy, which we covered when it launched. Delta Reign is a regular expansion, and independent stores will host the prerelease events from October 24, so the first look at real stock may come from a table at your local shop.
If the packs behave the way the reports say, Delta Reign has already done one thing right: nobody should have to buy a second box to finish a picture. Whether the rest is worth the shelf price is a question for November 6.
