Two pallets of cards, sitting on a FedEx truck outside the company that grades them. That is where more than 6,400 collectibles disappeared, and every one of them belongs to somebody who paid to have it slabbed. Professional Sports Authenticator, the grading company better known as PSA, reported the theft to the Santa Ana Police…
Two Warhammer stories we ran last week were waiting on answers. One got a date, and the other is still waiting. Here is where each stands on Monday. Tomb Kings: pre-orders opened Saturday, but the price is still soft. When we covered the Host of Nehekhara box, we had no price and no pre-order date….
Most book series give a writer a front door. Warhammer 40,000 has about a thousand, and the man writing Amazon’s version of it says that’s the whole problem. Mike Flanagan, the horror writer and director behind Midnight Mass and The Haunting of Hill House, talked about the project on the podcast The Process Unlocked, hosted…
Every group has a player who wants to swing a sword and cast Counterspell in the same round. A new class on D&D Beyond is built for exactly that player, and for the DM who has to say yes or no. The Magus is a third-party class from Sterling Vermin Adventuring Co., released on D&D…
For its first ten years in print, the D&D setting we now call Mystara didn’t have a name. It was just the Known World, and a lot of players learned the game there without ever hearing the word. That’s worth keeping in mind when people call Mystara D&D’s forgotten world, as Bell of Lost Souls…

That’s the first thing that stands out in the rules previews for the next Marvel: Crisis Protocol character pack, which Atomic Mass Games lists as Leader, Red Hulk &…

The campaign is called Vaultlines. According to Paizo’s store listing, it’s a single hardcover at $79.99, built for the remastered Pathfinder Second Edition…
Games Workshop is letting players read the rules for its new Age of Sigmar army before anyone can buy the box, and that is the right way to run a launch. If you are going to spend money on a new faction, you should get to see how it plays first. The Khazalite Holds are…
