WizKids Reveals Two ‘Star Trek: Captain’s Chair’ Releases
WizKids has announced two new releases for its Star Trek: Captain’s Chair deck-building game, both set to launch in August 2027.
“Duty and Honor” ($39.99) is an expansion adding playable captains including Worf and Gul Dukat, plus two additional characters, along with new starships such as the Val Jean and U.S.S. Defiant.
“Resistance is Futile” ($59.99) is a standalone game rather than an expansion, built for 1-2 players ages 14+ with a 60-120 minute playtime. It pits the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager — including Captain Janeway, Seven of Nine, and Locutus — against the Borg, featuring the Borg Queen and Borg Cube cards.
Both titles expand the existing Captain’s Chair system, giving fans new ways to build decks around fan-favorite Star Trek crews and adversaries.
